Contact requests
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected subject, message and source IP address. We use this information to respond to your request and help prevent abuse of the form. Please do not include passwords, payment card data or unnecessary sensitive information.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases require customer and billing information to process payment, issue a license and manage the subscription. Stripe provides the hosted checkout and customer payment portal. Card details are entered on Stripe's payment interface rather than the VARQOO contact form. Payment and subscription identifiers are used to associate the purchase with the license and provide billing support. See Stripe's privacy policy for information about its processing.
Purposes and legal bases
We process inquiries, orders and license administration to take steps at your request or perform the service contract. Information required for accounting and other applicable duties is processed to meet legal obligations. Security and abuse prevention support our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service. Optional website analytics require your consent, which you can change through Cookie settings.
Cookies and optional analytics
The website remembers your analytics choice. When enabled in the website configuration, Google Analytics loads only after you accept optional analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent access to the website or checkout. See the cookie policy for details and controls.
Service providers and international processing
Website hosting, email delivery, payment processing and consented analytics involve the relevant service providers. Stripe and Google may process information internationally under the arrangements described in their privacy notices. We do not use contact-form submissions as public website content.
Retention
Contact, support and licensing information is kept for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal or accounting requirements. Security information is kept as needed to investigate abuse and maintain service operation. The browser's analytics preference has a 180-day cookie lifetime; browser local storage may retain the preference until cleared.
Your requests
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information and object to relevant processing. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie settings. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
